Why we exist
Built by our community, for our community
We started Desi Accident Help because too many South Asian families were going through accidents feeling unheard and outmatched, and we knew it could be different.
When you move to a new country, you learn to navigate a thousand unfamiliar systems. But few are as overwhelming as what happens after a serious car accident: police reports, insurance adjusters, medical bills, and legal terms, often all at once, and often in a language that isn’t the one you think in.
For many in our community, that moment comes with a quiet fear: that you won’t be understood, that you’ll be taken advantage of, or that asking for help will be expensive or complicated. Too many people simply accept a lowball offer, or never get the medical care and compensation they were entitled to, not because they did anything wrong, but because no one explained the system to them in a way that felt human.
We built Desi Accident Help to change that. When you call, you reach a fellow Desi who speaks your language, understands your culture, and treats you like family. We listen, we explain things plainly, and we connect you with trusted, independent doctors and attorneys who will fight for a fair outcome, at no upfront cost to you.
We’re not a faceless call center, and we’re not here to pressure you. We’re your neighbors and advocates, here to make sure that being new to this country never means being treated unfairly.
